The firm of J. Arthur Brown & Associates, CPAs is an accounting and management advisory services firm based in the Washington Metropolitan area. The firm services individual, small and medium sized organizations in diverse industries. These industries include government contracting, nonprofit organizations, retail, construction contracting, and numerous other service-based entities.

Continuing education is critical prerequisite for delivering quantifiable results driven personal and business financial solutions. In accordance with the District of Columbia and Maryland Board of Accountancy, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, all firm professionals receive a minimum forty hours of continuing professional education annually.

U.S. Military Members

For federal tax purposes, the U.S. Armed Forces includes officers and enlisted personnel in all regular and reserve units controlled by the Secretaries of Defense, the Army, Navy and Air Force. The Coast Guard is also included, but not the U.S. Merchant Marine or the American Red Cross.
